As Salaam Alaikum.
Dear Excellency, Ayatullah Seyyed Ali Hosseini Khamenei, Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution and the People of Iran,
“Surely we are Allah’s and to Him we shall return.”- Holy Qur’an, 2:156
I, on behalf of the Shura Executive Council, my family and the entire Nation of Islam extend our heartfelt condolences to you and the people of the Islamic Republic of Iran, on the tragic loss of President Ayatollah Seyyed Ebrahim Rais al-Sadati, Foreign Minister Dr. Hossein Amir-Abdollahian, and the delegation that accompanied them on Sunday, May 19, 2024.
Our deepest sympathies to the families, friends, and loved ones for the loss of such valued servants of the Islamic Revolution. As Muslims, your pain is our pain as well.
Although we have suffered a great loss, yet, “No soul can die but with Allah’s permission, the term is fixed.”- Holy Qur’an, 3:144. Allah does not take from us and not offer something comforting to us. Al-Mahdi said to us that the desire of Allah is to make us perfect servants and perfect rulers to aid in setting up a universal government of peace wherein we all can live in peace together.
So we mourn our loss, but Allah brings us steps closer to what the Mahdi promises us that He is producing and preparing perfect rulers that will bring about a perfect civilization of peace.
“Of the believers are men who are true to the covenant they made with Allah; so of them is he who has accomplished his vow, and of them is he who yet waits, and they have not changed in the least – That Allah may reward the truthful for their truth …” – Holy Qur’an, 33:23-24
May Allah continue to preserve and protect you, the Islamic Revolution, and the People of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
