The spirit is still high from Saviours’ Day 2010 and I have tons to blog about over this next week. But I will throw in a few others here and there so I won’t overwhelm you with my excitement. (smile)
This year not only was I behind the camera lens along with taking notes for my Final Call Newspaper assignments, I was blessed to be a presenter at three workshops this year.
My first one was on Thursday, February 25 at the I-Nation Media training organized by Nisa Islam Muhammad. I presented on ways to leverage social media tools such as blogging, Twitter and Facebook. Other presenters included Sis. Nisa and Jaye Delai of Charlotte.
On Friday, Feb. 26, I was part of the Social Networking Online workshop organized by Dwayne Muhammad of Phoenix. I was one of the panelists which also included Carlos Muhammad (Baltimore), Yavonka Muhammad (Chicago) and Alexander Muhammad (London). I had an opportunity to share my 7 Banging Blogging Tips….funny title, huh? Well people enjoyed it. I will share those tips in a separate post.
The last one I was apart of was the Gangsters to Gods males only workshop on Feb. 27. I was honored to be on the panel with Student Minister Nuri Muhammad, Shahid “The Math Doctor” Muhammad, Chea Muhammad, Marc Muhammad,Student Minister Abdul Hafeez Muhammad and Dennis Muhammad. The dialogue was dynamic and very serious.
You can read more about these workshops and many others in an upcoming edition of The Final Call Newspaper.
