Jonah is one of the shortest books of the Bible, so I was curious to read how Brother Sa’ad Alim Muhammad would expound upon it in his latest installment, Jonah: A Sign Of The Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan.
I’ve read all of the previous installments within ‘The Volume of the Book’ series, therefore, I knew it wasn’t a matter of if he would, but how he would reveal the divine parallels between The Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan and Jonah.
Needless to say, I was blown away by the presentation! Many of us have heard Minister Farrakhan touch on aspects of Jonah as it relates to himself, but in very brief mentions. The amount of history offered in this book served as a foundation for aligning the two. It only deepened my love, conviction and desire to help The Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan even more!
It was as if Brother Muhammad went line for line in the Book of Jonah and line for line in the life and experience of The Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan and laid them on top of each other seamlessly.
It is an easy-to-read, page-turner and mind-opening tool that could quite honestly change the way millions of people view Minister Farrakhan, as well as scripture in general.
The Most Honorable Elijah Muhammad referred to the Bible as a “poison book”, in context regarding the condition that the misunderstanding and deliberate misuse of it has put Black people in. He teaches us that studying scripture helps us to see and understand the sequence of events unfolding right before us. Jonah: A Sign Of The Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan, and the entire In The Volume Of The Book series, is a magnificent demonstration of that! One is able to clearly see the parallels, understand the metaphors and see how those elements were grossly misused by those who seek to mislead the masses!
I learned so much, specifically dealing with the historical events of 1975, regarding the Nation Of Islam, and various metaphors in the Book of Jonah that I’ve never heard meticulously examined. It was as if a scalpel was taken to each metaphor for dissection and placed under a microscope.
This world would have our people believe scripture is simply the written version of Hollywood films where animals talk and mystical events occur. It’s one of the reasons I believe our people have been blinded from the truth and reality of scripture and Who to expect in this Time.
For instance, in this publication Brother Muhammad examines what the fish in the book of Jonah represented and him being “inside” the fish for three days and three nights. It was his refuge, and it was explained how that aspect took place in the life of The Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan. The crew casting their belongings off of the ship to lighten the load was also explained in detail and how it too aligned perfectly with the historical elements of the Nation Of Islam. Brother Muhammad even delved into the parallels between Jonah, Joshua and Jesus!
The historical (and present-day) disrespect that The Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan receives is unfathomable. Along with that it also gives the reader a glimpse into the heart and beautiful character of The Minister and causes one to look again at who has been in front of them all these years. His faithful, dedicated, unwavering, tireless and fearless stance to carry out his assignment AND not back down from the opposition (internally or externally), is more than evident. It’s irrefutable.
I deeply appreciate Brother Muhammad’s research, his desire to examine these prophets under a spiritual microscope for the benefit of the Believers and those who are curious about who Minister Farrakhan is in the Divine Line.
A certain line gave me chills. It was regarding how The Most Honorable Elijah Muhammad justifies the prophets as being prophets, because He is the Fulfiller of prophesy. Our ability to know what a fulfiller looks like is the key to unlocking Scripture and seeing it unfold right before our eyes. To be able to see how Minister Farrakhan as well as Master Fard Muhammad have also fulfilled multiple aspects of prophesy is indeed a tremendous blessing.
As one who grew up in the church, I’ve heard so many preachers stand before the people, without understanding scripture, cause more confusion. I have friends and family members who have not recovered from that misrepresentation to this day. I thank Allah for the blessing of Divine Guidance in The Most Honorable Elijah Muhammad through His Chief Helper and National Representative, The Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan. I thank Allah for guiding Brother Sa’ad Alim Muhammad to carry out this series: In The Volume Of The Book.
