Fruit of Islam

It’s moments like this that keep the Nation of Islam brothers fueled to stay in the streets!! We never go into the trenches of the ‘hood with a judgmental mindset, but with a heart of love for our people. During Friday’s #TruthTrafficking door-to-door push in the Southeast Houston community, we walked up on these two young warriors engaging in mental warfare. Not a dice game, but a game of CHESS.

They are among the countless mighty brothers we’ve been blessed to dialogue with on a weekly basis. When they see us there is nothing but a mutual display of respect, love and brotherhood. Our track record with them has been nothing but encouragement.

This time, when we walked up on them, we noticed how LASER FOC– USED they were on their chess match so we didn’t even want to interrupt them. I had to capture this because it is a testament to us striving to follow the instructions of The Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan  to make our communities a decent and safe place to live.

This is the power of The Teachings of The Most Honorable Elijah Muhammad when we as the Fruit of Islam take the message to the streets. We’ve witnessed a major shift in the consciousness of this community by striving to be consistent servants. We’ve witnessed more conscious peaceful sidewalk cyphers and less weed sessions. We’ve witnessed more building and less beefing. We’ve witnessed more display of family and less feuds. We’ve witnessed more plans of life visions and less violence.
