The Final Call Chronicles: Consistency is key in reaching the young gods.

One of the most rewarding and touching blessings of being consistent in the streets, is the genuine love we receive from the little gods who see us as their uncles. They followed us around the entire apartment complex today eager to go door-to-door with us handing out The Final Call Newspaper. Our beautiful niece right here refused to be outdone!! She was so geeked up!! ♥️

HOPE DEALERS: That moment when you’re working so cheerfully in the streets with a smile, that our people can’t help but roll down their windows and open their doors! The resurrection work doesn’t stop just because we’re experiencing record heat in Houston. And today’s push was epic!

Consistency is key in reaching the young gods. We do a lot of listening and learning from them. Allah has blessed us to build brotherhood in the streets.

The Final Call Chronicles: For those who say young people don’t want to listen

Anyone who keeps saying young people don’t want to listen, must be a person who doesn’t know how to connect to them and exerting too much negative energy condemning them. While we’re in the streets bringing knowledge, wisdom and understanding from The Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan, we have no problems at all getting the young gods to stop and listen. In fact, many of them gravitate to us before we say anything. We’re never condemning them, only encouraging and uplifting. We do a lot of listening. The Brother in this picture, along with his friend, told us they won’t open their door for other religious groups but when they looked through the window and saw it was us, they happily opened the door. It was a fruitful dialogue and next time they want us to bring a bean pie! All Praise is Due to Allah!! The Final Call Chronicles: In some of his darkest moments, he’s come to us for a ray of hope

Moments like this is why I love going out every week into the Southeast Houston streets with my Fruit of Islam brothers. This is one of the most energetic young gods we’ve met on the block. Every time we’ve seen him, like others, we dropped some jewels on him from the wisdom of The Most Honorable Elijah Muhammad and The Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan. In some of his darkest moments, he’s come to us for a ray of hope…

He walked up to me on Friday with a beaming smile and said, “Aye, I’ve been listening to my man on YouTube!!” I said, “Who is that?” He said, “THE MINISTER!” as he pointed to the picture of Minister Farrakhan on the back of The Final Call Newspaper I was holding.

He testified of how listening to Minister Farrakhan’s messages has helped to change his life and that things are a lot better in his life than the last time we saw him. All Praise is Due to Allah!! The street soldiers in Kings Row Apartments told us if we do anything for the children, they will back us up. We told them we would, and we’re striving to make our word bond this Saturday (July 22nd) with the “Make Our Community A Decent Place To Live” Day! Free food, empowering information booths, moonwalks, giveaways, music and more for our people! If you live in the area, come through at 4141 Barberry, Houston, Texas 77051 from 3-6:30PM.
