On Saturday, August 17, the Houston 10,000 Fearless Movement and The Nation of Islam hosted this year’s “Make Our Community A Decent Place to Live” Day at King’s Row Apartments in Southeast Houston.
It was a blessed success!! We’re striving to continue to follow the instructions of the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan and keeping boots on the ground in Southeast Houston to continuously bring about a transformative change. Salute to my #TruthTrafficking brother Linton Muhammad!
Thank you to Ms. Nesly, manager of King’s Row Apts, and the residents for always welcoming us into the complex the past several years to serve. The moonwalks were once again the main attraction for the children! Thank you to the Action CDC team for providing a mini-uhaul filled with free backpacks, school supplies, toys, household items and two bicycles. Everyone left with something in hand!!

Thank you to H-Town Links and Burgers for providing dynamic food and for all those who volunteered to serve. Thank you to DJ Blaknificent for keeping the energy high with the music. Thank you to K.I.N.G. Chess and Athletics for the chess station that had the children excited to learn and play. Thank you to all of The Nation of Islam Brothers and Sisters who came on deck to volunteer in any way possible and thank you to everyone who supported this effort from afar.
