I have been invited to be one of the featured speakers at the 6th Annual International Human Rights Film Festival held in New Orleans, Louisiana March 26 – April 5. This is a festival with a mission. Founded by New Orleans artists and activists, they are dedicated to nurturing the city’s human rights community, supporting the work of local organizers and organizations involved in these struggles, and providing a forum for artistic expression of local and international issues.
I am scheduled to speak on Friday, March 27 at the Liberation Hip-Hop Concert that is headlined by Wise Intelligent of the legendary Poor Righteous Teachers! Then I will be speaking at the “No More Killings in Our Name” rally on Sunday, March 29 surrounding Middle East justice and Palestine liberation.
I will also be supporting the premiere of the I AM Sean Bell, black boys speak documentary directed by Stacey Muhammad.
Don’t wait….Let’s Be the Change.
