Strategic boycotts for justice hit third year
Americans are on target to spend almost $700 billion on Christmas and Thanksgiving holidays to the first of next year, but activists, entrepreneurs and organizers have escalated boycotts to curb holiday spending in their fight for justice and battle against racism and police brutality.
Across the country, there have been “buycotts,” petition drives, and protests outside shopping malls, such as the Magnificent Mile, where some 300 demonstrators blocked entrances to stores in Chicago’s upscale shopping district on Michigan Avenue after Thanksgiving.
The Chicago Alliance Against Racist and Political Repression called the Black Friday Boycott for Nov. 24 to underscore determination to get justice for 17-year-old Laquan McDonald, who was killed by Chicago Police Officer Jason Van Dyke on Oct. 20, 2014.
“The first two shots put him on the ground. This child was laying on the ground, helpless, and he shot him 14 more times,” said Frank Chapman, field coordinator of the Alliance. “In fact, his clip ran out and he was getting ready to put another clip in the gun, when fellow officers stopped him.”
“They don’t issue a report telling us about what profit losses we cause, but we know we caused some because we passed out several thousand flyers, and there were people who would have been shopping in those stores that walked right on by them,” Mr. Chapman told The Final Call.
There was mass media coverage of the protest, a mass police presence, and two police snipers situated on nearby roofs, he said.
“They don’t care about us demonstrating in our own neighborhood, but when we come down there, in the central business district of this city, and start raising hell, they care about that. They don’t want us down there … We’re going to continue to go down there until we see some justice,” Mr. Chapman told The Final Call.
Their next move is to go after the banks, namely Chase Bank and Bank of America, for their roles in bilking Blacks out of wealth during the mortgage scheme of 2007-2008.
The plan is to ask everyone, but particularly Blacks, to shift money from those two banks and Wells Fargo, into Black-owned community-based credit unions, such as the Trinity United Church of Christ Federal Credit Union.
“They literally robbed the African American community of billions of dollars in real estate and we’re still walking up in there making deposits, and that needs to stop! The reason why we’re stopping it is because no justice, no profits! We can’t get justice for LaQuan McDonald. We can’t get justice for the over 100 torture victims that are now languishing in jails in the state of Illinois … then we will not contribute to your profits. We’re gonna spread the pain.”
His sentiments reflect the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan’s call for the “Up With Jesus! Down With Santa!” national economic boycott of commercial spending.
Stop shopping until the end of this holiday season, Jan. 2, 2018, or shop with Black-owned businesses, not those who could care less for Blacks, and make mockery of their real love for Jesus during “Christmas,” instructed Min. Farrakhan during organizing for the Justice or Else! gathering that marked the 20th anniversary of the historic Million Man March on Oct. 10, 2015 in Washington, D.C.
He gave the command, “Up with Jesus! Down with Santa!” following the beautiful instructions of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.
“Christmas is a pagan holiday that the enemy invented; it came out of the Babylonian era,” the Minister said. Sun worshipers that were heathens would go in the forest and cut down a tree, deck it with silver and gold, and fasten it with nails on the floor, Min. Farrakhan said. The practice is condemned in the Bible, Jeremiah 10:1-5.
When the pagans became Christians, they didn’t give up pagan practices. Those practices were simply incorporated in their new Christian religion.
“Did you know that when you put your lights on, put it all over your house, put a candle in the window, and a wreath, that’s because the people worshiped the Sun?” Min. Farrakhan observed.
On Dec. 21, the shortest day of the year, sun worshippers thought their god was leaving them, so they burned a yule log, lit candles, and cut a tree out of the forest to entreat their god back to them. When Constantine decided to become a Christian, instead of a pagan, he substituted the worship of the sun for worship of the son of God, said Min. Farrakhan.

Question: What is the difference between a disciple and an apostle?
The Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan: One can never become an apostle before first becoming a disciple. Those twelve that Jesus taught first were disciples, disciplined to his teaching and message. As they grew and then were inspired and anointed by the spirit, in that upper room experience, then they became apostles.

REPLAY:: Farrakhan Speaks – Seek Refuge In Allah (God) was last modified: August 22nd, 2017 by AQMBlog Staff
By The Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan
There is a scripture in the Bible that reads, “For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given; and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counselor, The Mighty God, The Everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace, and of the increase of his government of peace there shall be no end.”
This is a great scripture to start a Father’s Day message, because Isaiah the Prophet saw one coming that would be born of a woman, meaning he is like you and me, but, though he was born of a woman, a human being, yet the work that he did and the wisdom that he shared would be so magnificent that he would be called Wonderful, a Counselor, a Mighty God. Not Almighty, just Mighty God, the Everlasting Father. This one who was born of a woman would become a father, but he would be a father of an everlasting nation, and, of the increase of his government—but it is a special government, a government of peace—there shall be no end. That is powerful.
I want to take it from here to look at Jesus as a son who became a father, because every son ultimately becomes a father, and the quality of your sonship will determine the quality of your fatherhood.
Jesus submitted totally to The Father. Let us look at the words of Jesus and the actions of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). Jesus said, “Whatsoever I hear, that shall I speak. Whatsoever the Father commandeth me, that shall I do.” Whatever Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) heard from Allah (God), that he spoke, and whatever Allah (God) commanded him to do, that he did. He related to Allah (God) as an obedient son would relate to a father, and that is what qualified him to be the Father of a Nation of Peace. If we follow the example of Jesus, the example of Muhammad (PBUH), we would be good sons. Then, we too, could become good fathers.
When the disciples said to Jesus, “Master, teach us how to pray,” Jesus replied, “Pray on this wise: Our Father.” If He is “our” Father, then what He did for Jesus, He is able to do for you and me. If you want Allah (God) to father you, then, as Jesus was obedient to Him, we have to be obedient to Him. Jesus set such a perfect example, that all you have to do is put your foot down where he put his foot down. His Father will make you into what He made Jesus.
It is the same with Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). He was a soldier and a commander, but Muhammad obeyed Allah (God), and everyone that obeyed Muhammad was raised to eminence from a low state. Do you want to be raised? Then you have to practice being a soldier, being obedient to a son, who is obedient to a father, who is obedient to Allah (God).
“Our Father which art in heaven?” What does that say to men? If you are a father, you should exist in your house in an elevated state. Everybody should look up to father. “Hallowed be thy name.” That which is hallowed is that which is sacred. Some of us did not have a father like that. We never looked up to our fathers.
“Thy Kingdom Come.” How do you know that Farrakhan is a father? Because, when we started in 1977 to rebuild the Nation of Islam, there was nothing, but I had something in my head from the Honorable Elijah Muhammad, and, with faith, we said, “Thy Kingdom Come” and we brought it in.
“Thy will be done.” As a father, you have to have vision, something in your head. What do you see? What do you want? Whatever you see and whatever you want that is of good, by faith you can bring it into existence. With Allah (God), there is nothing that you cannot do.
“Give us this day our daily bread.” Fathers, you have got these hungry children out there and you may have given them some bread yesterday, you may have sent your little payment, maybe last year, and you figured that what you sent last year was sufficient, but the prayer says, “Give us this day our daily bread.” That means every day a father has to be producing for his children and for his family.
“And lead us not into temptation.” When there is hunger in the house, when you do not have anything, you are really leading your family to be tempted. Satan is always there to tempt you for something that you need or want, but, by an illicit way to get it. If you are a good father, you do not lead your son into temptation, but you deliver him from evil. A father delivers his family from evil.
“Forgive us our trespassers as we forgive those who trespass against us, for Thine is the Kingdom, the Power, and the Glory, forever.” Every father knows he has messed up somewhere along the line. All of us have done it. So, we ask The God to forgive us for our shortcomings, but we must have a heart to forgive those who have been short with us, but, for how long? Forever! Evidently. That prayer is associated with that One that was born who would be an Everlasting Father.

“When a woman of Amran said: My Lord, I vow to Thee what is in my womb, to be devoted (to Thy service), so accept (it) from me; surely Thou, only Thou, art the Hearing, the Knowing. So when she brought it forth, she said: My Lord, I have brought it forth a female – and Allah knew best what she brought forth – and the male is not like the female, and I have named it Mary, and I commend her and her offspring into Thy protection from the accursed devil” (Holy Qur’an 3:34-35).
The woman of Amran, in the above verse is the Mother of Mary, grandmother of Jesus. Most of us probably do not generally reflect on any of Jesus’ family members before Mary and Joseph. Although we do not give it much thought, we naturally understand that if Jesus had a mother, then he certainly had a grandmother and many more great forebears in his divine lineage. It is remarkable and certainly worth studying the mindset and the way of life of those who created the environment that would ultimately give birth to one of the greatest men in the annals of history. In the Holy Qur’an, Allah (God), allows us access into the mind of Jesus’ grandmother. Using just the two aforementioned verses, we gain so much knowledge, wisdom and understanding about the two most essential prerequisites to giving birth to a god – desire and prayer.
Jesus’ grandmother, like so many of the women during her time, desired to be the woman that possessed the womb that Allah (God) would bless to produce the Deliverer. Can you imagine having that honor bestowed on you as a mother? It was indeed a coveted position and one of great honor, respect and adoration among the righteous.
As mothers, we get excited and want to celebrate and share every wonderful accomplishment or skill that our children manifest – no matter how insignificant it may seem in the eyes of others; we are Proud! Why? Because deep down we hope that it is an indication that our child is on the right path towards one day making a positive contribution to the world. Jesus’ grandmother, did not just want a child that would contribute to the world, she wanted to give birth to that One who would make the most transformative contribution, ever.
Desire. According to Merriam-Webster dictionary, desire means, “to long or hope for: to express a wish for: to request: to invite.” Some synonyms of desire are “to crave, to hanker, to yearn, to covet.” This woman of Amran was so desirous of giving birth to the Deliverer, that she was not taking any chances. As soon a she knew that she was blessed with life in her womb, she went right away to Allah (God) in supplication and prayer – vowing to Him that the child she was carrying would be devoted to the service of God. A vow is a binding, sacred and solemn promise. Vows are not to be given lightly for they are in-fact lawful contracts. The Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan said, “When you make a vow – that is not only your desire; that is your will combined with your determination. I vow. I’m determined that what I make – what is in my womb – is to be devoted to YOU.”
Evidently Jesus’ grandmother must have been a righteous and prayerful woman prior to her pregnancy. She had to have experienced having her prayers answered by Allah (God) many times before, because when she gave birth and saw that her child was a female, she was surprised and confused. This confusion arose because she prayed during pregnancy and she not only had faith, but a profound expectation that her prayer would indeed be answered.
This must have been based on the fact that she had been blessed to have had her prayers answered in the past. Her prayers were indeed answered, as she would soon come to understand. But at that moment, she expressed concern (but never disappointment) to Allah (God) that the baby that she had so well-prepared in the womb to be devoted to His service and had begged Him to accept from her was not the expected gender.
Allah (God) comforted her and eased her anxiety. Allah (God) is the Best Knower, so He knew in advance exactly what she would produce. “The male is not like the female.” Allah (God) required a special female first; a pure vessel that would then produce the male Deliverer. Understanding this, Jesus’ grandmother – a woman of Amran – then prayed for both her daughter AND her future grandson. She entrusted both Mary and Jesus into Allah’s (God’s) protection from the accursed devil. Powerful!
As Black women, we must understand that in all of this there are signs and lessons for us. We will never produce great children if we do not first and foremost have a profound desire to do so; long before we are pregnant. This desire then feeds our will to clean up our lives spiritually and physically.
Secondly, the moment that we are aware that life is in our womb, we must pray, pray, pray. Pray to Allah (God) and make our solemn vow. We should devote ourselves to prayer continuously throughout our pregnancy. Our prayer, however; should not stop at the child growing in our womb, but should extend to future generations beyond the one that we are presently producing – never having any doubt or thought in our mind that we will not receive the answer to our prayers.
May Allah (God) bless us to produce gods!

The Role of the Ministry In A Time of War f/ Student Minister Willie Muhammad
written by AQMBlog Staff
Ebony S. Muhammad (EM): This is a two part question. The Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan has been in the ministry for over 60 years and does not appear to be tired or slowing down. In fact he is increasing momentum/strategy. According to your interaction, observance and study of him how would you think he would describe his ideal student minister? Along with his request of one thousand new student ministers, what is the significance of a youthful age and a youthful spirit?
Willie Muhammad (WM): I can only respond to this question based upon what I have heard the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan teach over the years and from what I have heard him share of the Most Honorable Elijah Muhammad’s words about him. Thus, I would say the ideal student minister would be one that is like the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan.
He shared with us recently that the Most Honorable Elijah Muhammad told him that he was “his Ali.” The Minister explained that Ali means the standard bearer. In addition to that the Minister said the Messenger said that if he had ten more like him he could take over America. So the ideal student minister reflects Minister Farrakhan.
When I say reflect I am not talking about physical features, even though the Minister is a very handsome man. Therefore, when I say reflect I am talking about the need to possess those qualities that makes him the beloved of God and His Christ. When I say reflect I am talking about reflecting the qualities in the Minister that made the Christ tell him to sit in his seat and that we should look at him, hear him, obey him and follow him. I hope that answers your question.
Also when I say reflect I am talking about his character. In the Book of Jude in the New Testament the character of the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan is attest to using the example of the Archangel Michael. The scripture says that Michael disputed with Satan over the body of Moses. During this dispute, even though Satan used low down tactics, the scriptures say Michael maintained his integrity. Most people throw principle out of the window when engaged with their enemy. But scripture shows the Archangel Michael didn’t stoop to the level of the Devil. The Messenger said he only had one Farrakhan. Michael is the only angel referred to as the archangel, and the Messenger told the Minister that he is an angel. An ideal student minister must have character.
Many of us still think about youth in a chronological sense. Remember the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan told us that is not the number one indicator of the Joshua generation. He said it’s about the spirit we possess and how that spirit moves us to be in lock and step with Allah. Look at the Minister, whom we say Joshua is a sign of in the Bible. Yet, the Minister is in his 80s. Biblical scholars estimate that Joshua in the scriptures was 60 years of age when he led the Children of Israel into the Promise Land. So it’s more about the spirit in than youthfulness.
EM: How real of an issue is burn out, resentment or even bitterness when it comes to being in the ministry? How do these sentiments enter the mind/heart of the one positioned to serve? How does one combat against it?
WM: Resentment, bitterness and burn out are real issues for people in the ministry. I personally think that burnout is the final stage after resentment and then bitterness. They begin to set in our hearts and minds when we fail to properly acknowledge our disappointments and fail to properly address them. These sentiments begin to take root when we look for reward and praise from others instead of Allah. If we keep Him as the focus then we can avoid those sentiments.
I’m not just trying to say that in a way that sounds cliché-ish. In the scriptures we see can learn from Jesus and the ten men he cured of leprosy. Only one of the ten came back, and the one that did was not a member of Jesus’ own people. Despite that, Jesus did not allow the ingratitude of the other nine take away from his spirit/desire to do what God raised him to do. Why? Because he was not doing it for vanity but solely for the glorification of God. The Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan is a LIVING example of that in our midst. He is proof that we can defeat such sentiments.
Sometimes we bring these sentiments upon ourselves by doing more than Allah asked us to do. In the Holy Quran Allah asked us to simply live a life based upon the laws and principles He gave us. He also asked that our duty is to only deliver a clear message. This world has given many an incorrect understanding of salvation. Too many think that it’s about sitting back and doing nothing, while allowing God and Jesus to do it all. If we read the scripture we see that the person who hears the word has a responsibility to do something. The Minister said that the ear would be the instrument of salvation in the Last Days. Well, add that the words of Jesus when he said don’t just be hearers of the word but also DOERS!
Often time we go beyond that and try to do it all for our people and end up enabling them. This creates stress, which leads to resentment, then bitterness. We begin to resent the amount of time we spent trying to bring the message to our people. Then we begin to become bitter toward them and our own spirit becomes salty. So like the wife of Lot we are looking back and missing the world we were brought out of while we say we are walking with the Man of God toward the destination God is leading him. Then burnout takes place, which means the fire of Allah is extinguished due to resentment and bitterness.
EM: I always hear Minister Farrakhan give care and consideration in his opening. He does not waste one word throughout his messages. What kind of spirit does it take and what kind of love does it take to overcome exhaustion where it doesn’t affect one’s ability to convey the word of Allah?
WM: If we love sharing the Word of Allah, I mean really love it, that alone will help us overcome exhaustion. That love with the constant reminder that we are representing God’s man and speaking to God’s people, will help us be careful in our delivery. Minister Farrakhan is a living example of that. He is energized by the word and seeing people become awakened. I have experienced the same thing, I love sharing what the Minister is giving to us from the Most Honorable Elijah Muhammad. This is all I really want to do. Share it verbally and find ways to manifest it in tangible ways as well. When I do I feel energized and fulfilled. I feel unfulfilled when large amounts of my time are consumed by things that don’t include this Teaching.
EM: What are the complexities related to tiring out? For example, there are some student ministers who work full-time jobs. How does that or how can that affect one’s spiritual energy? How does physical health and fitness contribute to one’s spiritual energy?
WM: I think the biggest challenge having a full time job presents is that it limits what we can do. It adds to the challenge for the struggle for balance, and it takes away from the creativity we can be devoting to planning, strategizing and developing the systems within our mosques or study groups.
We are participating in the resurrection of a mentally dead people, which is more than a FULL TIME job. Think about this example. Imagine there are two people who work at a graveyard doing 12 or more hour shifts. Their job responsibilities are exhuming bodies that are buried in caskets. One worker does this job full time. His full attention and energy is dedicated to doing that work, while the other has another full time job that requires his attention and labor from 8a-3:30p. As soon as this worker finishes he goes to work at the graveyard. Which one do you think would be the most effective in fulfilling his job responsibilities? Which one would have more energy? Which one do you think would be able to use his mental and creatively capabilities the most?
The disciples of Jesus, at one point in their following Jesus, had to leave their occupations to follow the Master Teacher. You don’t read about them still fishing and being accountants. They followed him. I personally believe we would make greater strides and accomplishments if more student ministers and laborers were freed up.

The never-ending propaganda that demonizes Muslims and our entire faith gets annoying. More than annoying, it gets dangerous. This rhetoric has become a fact to many people, but it is a sinister view of Muslims and our faith that bears no tangible truth. The lies, myths, and straight up foolishness that I see and hear about Muslims needs to be debunked, and completely thrown away from our thinking.
“Muslims don’t believe in God or Jesus, they believe in Allah”
This is literally one of the most ignorant statements I’ve ever been encountered with. This lie attempts to accuse Islam as being anti-Christian and some radical religion with a grudge against Jesus. Jesus is loved and appreciated in Islam. In the Holy Qur’an, his mother Maryam (Mary) has an entire chapter dedicated to her. Muslims generally don’t worship Jesus as God, but see him as an important Prophet and Servant of Allah, and a good example in his obedience to God.
Do people who say that quote know what “Allah” means in English? It translates to God. If you are a person of any other faith besides Islam, and you speak arabic, then you would also say “Allah”. Jesus being a man who did not speak English, but most likely Arabic, would have said “Allah” too. We don’t have a “Muslim god”. There is but One God.
Muslims like ISIS want to kill everyone *inserts false verse allegedly from the Qur’an*
ISIS doesn’t even pray in the same direction as us, let alone read from the Qur’an! As far as I’m concerned, they are not Muslim. They are far off from Islam and the true teachings of it. Of course, you will have those who use the Qur’an as justification for their own political agenda. Kind of how the Bible was used to justify chattel slavery. Often times, people who claim that Muslims want to kill everyone, bring up verses from the Quran that have either been misinterpreted completely, or aren’t even in the book. If you’re going to quote the book, at least read it. Muslims do not want to kill everyone. And if you have read the Qur’an you would have read that it says killing one person is like killing all of mankind ( Surah 5:32). Don’t believe the hype.
Islam is wrong because all Muslims have an agenda to wage Jihad against America.
True “jihad” is the struggle with self. It truly is about overcoming war with yourself; your own personal challenges, often times, spiritual. Muslims are never to be the aggressors, however if we are attacked first, then fighting back is never a bad thing. In terms of a physical war, as Minister Farrakhan has said before, “No leader of any Muslim nation can call for Jihad or Holy War and cause the Muslim world to obey that call.”
I’ve been Muslims all of my life, and I’ve never been told to hate people of other faiths, or that it’s wrong to love Jesus. Islamophobia gets tiring. It, unfortunately, extends beyond some troll on twitter. This is propaganda that has been repeated post-9/11, and has not stopped since. This shaped the minds of many Americans (and people around the world) to potentially mistreat Muslims. Women have had their hijabs pulled off of their heads, and hate crimes against Muslims have happened many times. Words are powerful and should never be taken lightly, especially when it perpetuates harmful stereotypes and misconceptions about people of an entire faith.

Islamophobic Propaganda I’m Tired of Hearing Pt. II was last modified: January 6th, 2017 by AQM Blog Staff
Of the many great honors I’ve been blessed to experience in the Nation Of Islam, one in particular stands out tremendously to me. A couple years ago, I had the great privilege of hearing the testimonies of extraordinary women in the Nation of Islam (whom I greatly admire), which revolved around the life and unique sacrifices of the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan. Sisters Fatimah Farrakhan (Registered Nurse and daughter of Min. Farrakhan), A’ishah Muhammad (Student National M.G.T. Captain Emeritus and Student National Auditing Coordinator), Mary Alice Muhammad (Lead Chef for Min. Farrakhan) and Ava Muhammad (Attorney and Student National Spokesperson for Min. Farrakhan) were asked to approach the “witness stand”.
To be extraordinary is to exceed the common degree, to be remarkable and wonderful (Webster’s Dictionary). This does not mean that they are superior in importance, but that they have walked with the Hon. Minister Louis Farrakhan to the degree of witnessing his intense love, humility, suffering, sacrifice and dedication and can bear witness to the profound affect his life has had on theirs.
This special gathering was conceived by and organized by three Black men who are members of the Nation Of Islam and the F.O.I. (Fruit Of Islam); Brothers Jesse Muhammad (social media strategist for Min. Farrakhan), Rashad Muhammad (a former member of Min. Farrakhan’s security team) and Willie Muhammad (Student Minister and event moderator).
The event opened with prayer and words from Brother Willie Muhammad explaining the purpose for as well as the uniqueness of these testimonies. “This is more than a panel discussion, because of who is the subject revolving around these testimonies”, he stated. The who he is referring to is the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan!
Brother Rashad Muhammad followed by recognizing the presence of Mother Khadijah Farrakhan, wife of the Hon. Minister Louis Farrakhan. “When we talk about the Extraordinary Women we cannot go without talking about the Extraordinary one, Mother Khadijah Farrakhan”, he said. “What he (Farrakhan) is offering us is God’s love. Our testament is whether or not we can love one another”, he continued. He closed with the following words, “When we truly understand what God has given us in the Hon. Louis Farrakhan we would understand the Reality of God. I bring these women up before you so that you may examine their hearts; we judge not but learn to be patient.”
It was at that moment that Brother Willie Muhammad, the event moderator, introduced each panelist and proceeded to go right into the set of questions that were emailed by the general public as well as members of the Nation Of Islam.
One question that was posed was regarding why many people cry in the presence of the Hon. Minister Louis Farrakhan. Here are the responses of the panelists:
“When you see a man who walks the walk and talks the talk, it raises the bar so high…God raises him up. You’re just in awe of what you’re witnessing”. – Fatimah Farrakhan.
“When I’m in his presence I am reduced to a child. It touches your heart, because of his love and mercy.” – A’ishah Muhammad
“The Minister has a healing power…I’ve witnessed it. When I first met Min. Farrakhan I was on chemotherapy. He spoke of healing and Allah (God) giving us the power to self heal. I know that in my heart and soul this (Farrakhan) is the beloved of God and His Christ.” – Ava Muhammad
“I know that there is a certain magnetic field around him. When people cry, that’s what they feel. Although he is a man like anyone else, there is something special about him. For those who cry, they are feeling the Presence of Allah.” – Mary Alice Muhammad
A particular question was posed to Sis. Fatimah Farrakhan regarding how seeing her father medically has tested her faith. Here is her response:
“You see a man in the grips of death like that and his words are ‘Whatever Your Will is Allah!’ He is so unselfish. He is in constant prayer and reflection with God! It makes me think Wow..I get choked up..he’s something else.”
There was a question posed to Sis. Ava Muhammad to share her experience watching Minister Farrakhan stand up for Truth. Here is her response:
“He possesses every characteristic of the Sun. He is in ultimate teaching mode. I have NEVER seen him in any other way; gracious, elegant. I have never known a more proficient lawyer than Minister Farrakhan. The difference between him and others is his heart. When he is listening to others, he is truly processing what they are saying. There is no way that this man is not guided by God! The enemy cannot calculate how to defeat him!”
A question was submitted for Sis. A’ishah Muhammad relating to the use of Dianetics. Here is her response to the critics and for those who misunderstand:
“We hear ‘Dianetics’ and think that it’s different from the Teachings of the Hon. Elijah Muhammad, but it’s not. He has not deviated, he has excelled! He is adhering 1000%!”
The following question was submitted to Sis. Mary Alice regarding how Min. Farrakhan handles his dinner guests. Here is her response:
“I’ve seen people come to his table who have vilified him, but when they come to his table they’re treated like royalty. You have a genuine brother in this man (Min. Farrakhan). Ask Allah for patience and you will see why he does what he does. I ask myself all of the time, ‘Who does this?’ All I can say is what a friend we have in Jesus!”
A very interesting question was posed to the entire panel regarding why the Nation Of Islam compares Minister Farrakhan to Jesus Christ. Here are their responses:
“I don’t compare him to the Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. He IS my Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ!” – Ava Muhammad
“We’re at a crossroad, we have to make a decision: What Side Do You Want to Be On? Please let this be the beginning of a new dawn and love one another as he loves us.” – Mary Alice Muhammad
“There are many that he (Min. Louis Farrakhan) has taken care of that we don’t know about! He gives life to the dead!” — A’ishah Muhammad
“When you think of God you think of love and His mercy. Minister Farrakhan has been the extreme example of love and mercy. I don’t get into titles…let’s just be found doing the work. Minister Farrakhan is an extraordinary man”. – Fatimah Farrakhan
The entire event was electrifying, inspiring and a profound voice of clarity for those who were either confused about the character of the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan or just confirmation for what they themselves have experienced to a lesser degree.
There were moments of thunderous applauses, tears, laughter and firmness as it relates to the reality of Minister Farrakhan given through these testimonies. For those who were unfamiliar with Minister Farrakhan, they were given a very clear understanding that was unmistakable. For anyone unfamiliar or confused about his Teacher, the Honorable Elijah Muhammad, they were given insight to him as well. For those who had never heard of the name Master Fard Muhammad, these extraordinary women gave testimony to Him! For, without these Extraordinary Men, the testimonies of these Extraordinary women and many others could not exist.
Closing remarks were given by Sister Donna Farrakhan, Student Minister and daughter of the Hon. Minister Louis Farrakhan. She shared her appreciation and how inspired she was by this event. She recognized each family member of the panelists as well as the sacrifice of her own mother, Mother Khadijah Farrakhan. Sis. Donna closed with the following words, “If you submit your will to do the Will of Allah, He will begin to unwrap your gift. This is a beautiful beginning of something! Be sure to tell everyone who wasn’t able to make this event NOT to miss the next one!”
Brother Ishmael Muhammad, Student National Assistant to the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan, also gave closing words. “Today it’s so important that we can give a testimony of not only what Islam has done but of what the Hon. Minister Louis Farrakhan has done”, he said. “Every one of you, and the women on this panel, Allah Himself, prepared helpers for His servant to do His (God’s) work”, he continued. He closed with these words, ” You are predestined with Christ. You have to know that the one raised among us is an example of the life God has for us! There is something in this day…It was the women around the Prophet, Muhammad and Jesus. The Women were there to console and prepare him (Jesus) to ascend to the Father and who were there upon his return. It was the women around Prophet Muhammad; their testimonies are most cherished. Every word you shared today was food for my soul and you nurtured and strengthened my faith. Let us step up–not in words–but in DEEDS…He (Minister Farrakhan) has literally laid down his life for us all”.
Brother Jesse Muhammad was asked to give a brief report of the response from social media. “I’ve been getting texts and tweets from people crying and wishing they were in these seats. The demand right now are for the DVDs to be immediately available”, he said.
I thank Allah, Who Appeared in the Person of Master Fard Muhammad, for the blessing and honor to be present to witness these beautiful women offer their life experiences and interaction with the Hon. Minister Louis Farrakhan, who is so misunderstood, to offer an illuminating light of understanding.
I would like to thank each of these women for being courageous enough to open up to the questions and share candidly. I would like to thank the organizers for their vision, love and diligence in making this event a reality for all to witness. I would like to thank the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan for approving the event and inviting all to approach the witness stand! Allah U Akbar (God Is The Greatest)!
This event is a moment in my life that I will never forget!
Peace & Blessings,
