For those wondering why the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan chose not to release the now controversial 2005 photo he took with former President Barack Obama, he explained it in this message to the arts & cultural community delivered on October 13, 2016 at The Gathering Spot in Atlanta. Minister Farrakhan also talks about Barack Obama’s visit to his home in Chicago when he was a Senator.
President Barack Obama
The Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan granted a Skype-based interview with noted Iranian journalist Nader Talebzadeh based in Tehran. This enlightening interview was conducted Dec. 6, 2016.
In February, 2016, a Nation of Islam delegation led by Minister Farrakhan made a special trip to the Islamic Republic of Iran as the Muslim nation celebrated the 37th anniversary of its revolution amid the end of U.S. sanctions.
Nader Talebzadeh is an Iranian journalist, TV producer, show host, and documentary and feature filmmaker. He is based in Tehran.
Unsafe in the White House: Secret Service security debacle tied to America’s racial crisis
WASHINGTON (FinalCall.com) – For two solid weeks, even after disgraced agency chief Julia Pierson was forced to resign, the U.S. Secret Service—tasked by Congress after the 1901 assassination of William McKinley to protect the U.S. president, vice president and their families—dominated newspaper headlines, broadcast news coverage, and social media. The agency virtually melted down into what appeared to be a pool of incompetence, or worse.
The breaches of security around President Barack Obama—the most threatened commander-in-chief in U.S. history—and at the White House seemed inexplicable. “It will never happen again,†a grim Ms. Pierson told a House oversight committee which confronted her with reports that Army veteran Omar Gonzalez allegedly scaled the 7-foot-high, wrought iron fence on the Pennsylvania Avenue side of the executive mansion, and penetrated deeper into the unlocked building than the agency first reported on Sept. 19 when the intrusion occurred.
Mr. Gonzalez apparently cleared the fence, ran across the 150-yard lawn through an unlocked front door, overpowered one officer, ran past an unguarded stairway leading to the First Family’s residence, and was finally subdued by an off-duty officer in the massive East Room, according to The Washington Post.
One day after her Capitol Hill testimony Ms. Pierson resigned, replaced on an interim basis by Joseph Clancy, who headed Mr. Obama’s first protective detail after he took office in 2009. But the flood of revelations of serious—even life threatening security breaches—continued to cascade into public view. [Read More]
Saviours’ Day, Farrakhan and possible assassination plots on Pres. Obama
Originally published 3.1.12
The picture I selected for this post says it all.
I just returned from Chicago, IL attending the Nation of Islam’s annual Saviours’ Day Convention. Each year we gather to celebrate the birth of Master Fard Muhammad born in Mecca, Arabia, February 26, 1877. Master Fard taught the Most Honorable Elijah Muhammad and we believe both of them are physically alive.
Saviours’ Day is not only a time we convene to fellowship, but we’re also fed valuable information that is directly related to all being better saviours of our people as written in the Book of Nehemiah. It was a full four days of plenaries and workshops covering topics such as the reality of God, the truth about 9/11, health, marriage, business, disaster preparedness, prison reform, and more. I wish I could’ve cloned myself to attend everything!
The convention is always concluded with the keynote address by the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan, the National Representative of the Hon. Elijah Muhammad.
This year he spoke at the United Center for nearly five hours. I had the opportunity to watch and tweet live the entire time inside the press room on the lower level.
It hasn’t taken much time for the usual political pundits, bloggers, mainstream mental midgets, radio show wackos, Right Wing un-intelligentsia, and of course the so-called Jews, to make another failed attempt to critique and dismantle the arguments presented by Minister Farrakhan.
The ADL put out their standard denouncement with the same old “anti-Semite†label.
However, we must jog the memory of Mr. Foxman and Jewish scholars that it’s been nearly two years since Minister Farrakhan put out a public challenge that has gone unanswered related to Volume 2 of “The Secret Relationship Between Blacks and Jewsâ€, produced by the NOI’s Historical Research Department. [If you don’t know what I’m talking about please click here]
This is not being written in the spirit of hatred or vitriol because Minister Farrakhan doesn’t train us in that manner. I’m just presenting the facts.
The other day Sean Hannity even pulled out the ‘big guns’ by inviting Herman “999 Personal Problems†Cain on his show to challenge Minister Farrakhan. Sorry, Cain but you’re un-Abel to deal on Minister Farrakhan’s level. His wisdom isabove your pay grade. Step aside “brother†because he’s calling out Satan today, not dumb devils.
Matter of fact, Minister Farrakhan has stated that people like Hannity, Beck, Limbaugh and all of these other talking heads aren’t worth his breath. With that being said, let me not waste another character in this blog on them.
Minister Farrakhan’s message was a masterpiece of warning and guidance that I would invite all to watch and study.
Everyone is zeroing in on his words regarding the vicious attacks made against President Obama and his family. The Minister said this “avalanche of hatred†is creating a dangerous climate for Pres. Obama and could lead to a situation in which he could be assassinated.
According to The Final Call, Minister Farrakhan said:
“Not just by the birthers and right wing zealots, but those in high places—people with great influence—have spoken against him in a manner that has never been accorded to even the worst of America’s White presidents.â€
President Obama has been called “a racist, an anti-Semite, a socialist, a communist, a foreigner, an alien and a terrorist.â€
There have also been caricatures depicting the president as a witch doctor, Adolph Hitler and in Jerusalem, there was a poster showing him with an Arab kaffiyeh on his head calling him an “anti-Semitic Jew hater…â€
The crowd responded and moaned when the Minister read the text of the reprehensible e-mail sent by Republican Kansas Speaker of the State House Mike O’Neal in which he invoked portions of Psalm 109:8, which says in part, “Let his days be few; and let another take his office†and “May his children be orphans and his wife a widow.â€
He touched on America’s steady fall, prophecies in scripture, the record-setting weather patterns of 2011 that he forewarned, depopulation, economic development for Black people, Hollywood, so-called UFOs, Pres. Obama’s strained relationship with Israel, health, and raised some questions about Osama bin Laden and 9/11.
According to the same article, he said:
“Osama bin Laden was caught unarmed with his family around him,†said the Minister. “They could have gotten him, secured him, taken him out of Abbottabad, Pakistan, and brought him to a place where he could have been interrogated about 9/11 and other alleged terrorist operations.â€
“Why didn’t you interrogate him? Could it be that to kill him on the spot, meant that he was really not wanted alive, because maybe much of what you charged him with, you would never be able to prove in a military court or in a court of law? Could it be that the 3,000 that died at the World Trade Center were not killed by Osama bin Laden or Muslims at all? Could it be that it was used by our government—a false flag operation—to begin to deprive the American people of what is guaranteed in the Constitution and the Bill of Rights?â€
Until Minister Farrakhan said it this past Sunday, I did not know that Iran has never attacked another country in its modern history.
If Pres. Obama decides to go forward with a war with Iran, Minister Farrakhan said, “…all the young people in the Nation, you do not fight in America’s wars against another Muslim country. We are all conscientious objectors. I advise White and Black America, Hispanic and Asian America, why would you send your children to die for war engineered by Zionists who love Israel more than they love the United States of America?â€
I thank Allah for Minister Farrakhan, a man who is unafraid to speak the truth regardless to whom or what. He boldly challenged the government to come after him.
This is chess, not checkers.

It looks as if America’s patience with the Occupy Wall Street movement is growing thinner by the day as police officers are being ordered to dismantle their occupy camps on all coasts.
It has been a beautiful sight to watch people taking a stand but it may be on the verge of turning completely ugly. Why? Because the American people are fed up and these young protesters don’t have ‘backing down’ in their game plan. And neither do the Mayors of these various cities. The city officials may seem like they are cooperating with this beautiful display of the people’s constitutional right, but it may just be a mask covering the ugly disgust they have with the cause itself. This may become an all-out war.
The Occupy movement is so serious that even rapper Jay-Z came under fire for seemingly exploiting the movement by releasing his own line of “Occupy All Streets” t-shirts being sold on his Roca wear site. After the outrage, the shirts were reportedly removed from the site but magically reappeared the next day.
One of the lead organizers for Occupy Wall Street told reporters “Jay-Z, as talented as he is, has the political sensibility of a hood rat…To attempt to profit off the first important social moment of 50 years with an overpriced piece of cotton is an insult to the fight for economic civil rights known as #occupywallstreet.”
The 99% got many problems, but Jay-Z is not the biggest one.
Reportedly, hundreds of police officers, clothed in riot gear, stormed Zuccotti Park in New York in an effort to serve a final eviction notice to New York protesters. A New York Supreme Court Judge ordered that the city allow the protesters back into the park. How long will that order be upheld? New York is the birthplace of this movement that has caught fire across seas as thousands protest corporate greed, economic injustice, and other issues.
You remember the saying “What goes around, comes around”, right? I can’t help but think about how for so many years America’s leaders spoke boldly when they told so-called dictators not to “harm their own people” and that people should be given the “freedom to protest.” U.S. Presidents have called for “change” in foreign nations yet when it comes to the plight of the American people it seems to be placed on the back burner. Hypocrisy perhaps?
In the midst of the Egyptian uprising, President Obama sided with the people and his administration warned Egypt’s leaders that they should “not expect those protests to go away until they respond appropriately; at issue are deep concerns over repression, poverty and corruption.” (Source)
Well, Mr. President looks like you have a similar problem on your hands, huh?
The Most Honorable Elijah Muhammad warned us for decades that the things that we see across seas would soon be at the doorstep of America. And the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan has continued to deliver this same message. During an October 25 interview on Chicago’s WVON, Minister Farrakhan discussed the Occupy Wall Street movement. The following was printed in The Final Call:
Returning to the Occupy Wall Street movement, when asked by a member of the press how he would advise Pres. Obama to keep the protests over the economic crisis here in America from becoming violent, the Minister said the president will “probably instruct the police to be very, very careful,†with the young protesters.
“People are hurting and these young people are expressing themselves. At first in New York the police were very hard on them, and this is not the best approach,†said the Minister warning that if the law enforcement officials grow tired of the protesters and any of them are killed, it could take them over the tipping point ushering in a violent escalation.
“If it gets to the point where America gets tired of the protest of these young people and something happens—like what happened at Kent State, and young Americans are killed—I tell you, militias in this country that have been training for war against their own government will come out in the streets to protect these children and it’s on,†he said.
“I told you before that what you saw overseas was coming to your door! And now it is here! And it will get worse! I pray that you will tell your police to be full of restraint. But when they are not, then be careful,†he warned.
Will the Occupy movement turn into the Un-Occupy massacre? We shall see…

As candidates from both parties line up to debate, attack, run and unseat President Barack Obama in 2012, some in the Black community are being forced to face the reality that race relations in America have not improved. Others were never under that illusion.
I recently had a conversation with a Black elderly woman in our Houston community. We talked for nearly an hour about her assessment of Obama’s campaign slogan “Change We Can Believe In†and if she thinks we’re truly living in a post-racial America.
“I truly thought things might evolve racially with Obama in office. But I’ve watched even more racism spew from White folks, the Tea Party, and Republicans. I’ve watched them attack Michelle Obama and even read about all of the assassination attempts against her husband. It’s sad,†Mrs. Rogers told me.
Mrs. Rogers said she stood in line for hours in Houston to vote for President Obama over two years ago in hopes that a change was on the horizon.
“I feel like we’re going backwards. A ‘post-racial America’ was only a mirage. Despite us waving hundreds of thousands of American flags when Obama was elected, we’re still a country divided. And unfortunately Obama has addressed the plight of just about everyone except us as Black people. We haven’t been on his agenda and neither the Hispanic people. He even bailed out those corporate crooks who now won’t even hire people. I’m not making excuses for Obama but he inherited hell from Bush. However, it’s the job he signed up for and it may be tough for him to get my vote next year,†she said.

Kofi Taharka, national chairman of the National Black United Front, told me “Black people got mesmerized by the Obama phenomenon. However, when it comes to the continuous heinous crimes done to Blacks and Hispanics in this country, the scales of justice remain unbalanced.â€
Reflecting on the 13th anniversary of the dragging death of James Byrd, Jr., Mr. Taharka said “much hasn’t really changed since in terms of the treatment of Black people. But no matter who is in office we can’t stop addressing the issues.â€
The 49-year-old Mr. Byrd was chained by his ankles to the rear of a truck and dragged along a rural road on June 7, 1998. Mr. Byrd’s head and right arm were severed while his torso was dumped near a cemetery in Jasper County.
The Matthew Shepard and James Byrd, Jr. Hate Crimes Prevention Act was signed into law in October 2009 by President Obama. The act authorizes the federal government to investigate and prosecute bias-motivated crimes based on the victim’s actual or perceived sexual orientation, gender, gender identity, or disability. The bill also gives the federal government jurisdiction over prosecuting hate crimes in states where the current law is inadequate or when local authorities are unwilling or do not have the resources to do so themselves.
Attorney Malik Zulu Shabazz, who heads the New Black Panther Party for Self Defense, only sees it as a piece of paper that does not serve justice for the poor.
He told me “The use and application of this act has been slow and disappointing. The local and state authorities have done a horrible job in bringing these hate crime laws into prosecution. Since President Obama has been elected there has been a noted increase in hate crimes and racist acts toward Blacks and Hispanics.â€
Interestingly, a November 2010 report by the FBI showed there were 8,336 victims of hate crimes the previous year. Over 4,000 of those crimes were race related and Blacks represented nearly 72 percent of the victims. Hispanics accounted for 62 percent of those victimized due to ethnicity or national origin. Of the 6,225 known offenders, 62.4 percent were White, 18.5 percent were Black, and 7.3 percent were groups of individuals of various races, the report said.
Student Minister Robert Muhammad, of the Nation of Islam, was in attendance at the emotional funeral of Mr. Byrd over thirteen years ago. “We have to revitalize and reenergize our grassroots movement for justice regardless of who is running or who is elected in 2012,†he said.
I agree.
Do you think we’re living in a post-racial America? Have we witnessed REAL change? Will 2012 be more of the same?

As you already know, America launched an attack on Libya. Do you think it is justified?
In a recent interview on The Cliff Kelley Show, the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan blasted Pres. Obama and Secy. Clinton for their arrogance in meddling in another sovereign nation’s affairs and publicly recommending regime change. He then instructed Americans to look beneath the surface to see who stands to benefit from the unrest and warned Pres. Obama to be careful of the words coming from advisors lobbying him to move in with military forces to depose Libya leader, Col. Gadhafi.
According to a FinalCall.com article, Minister Farrakhan said in part:
“Is it that you’re (U.S. officials) so concerned over the blood that is being shed in Libya, when you looked the other way when the Israeli Defense Force was bombing the innocent people of Gaza, unarmed men, women and children? … You looked the other way when the Israeli Defense Force went into Lebanon thinking that they were going to have an easy victory, then you had to come out with your tail between your legs?”
Min. Farrakhan said Col. Gadhafi has been investing money in Africa, enjoys international friendship, and should not be killed simply because he is not America’s friend.
“Now, I want to warn you, in the Name of Allah, that this is more complex than what you think! Go into Libya if you want to. The Libyans do not want foreign occupation on their land. And when you make that kind of move, if you’re not careful, you’ll unite the Libyan people against you!”
Inside America members of the Branch Davidian religious sect were killed in 1993 in Waco, Texas, by federal law enforcement, while men, women and children of the MOVE organization were killed when police bombed their home during a 1985 standoff in Philadelphia, he said. Current American outrage is nothing but hypocrisy, the Minister said.
In another portion he said this directly to Pres. Obama:
“Why don’t you organize a group of respected Americans, and ask for a meeting with Gadhafi? You can’t order him to step down, and get out–who the hell do you think you are, that you can talk to a man that built a country over 42 years, and ask him step down and get out? Can anybody ask you? Well, well there’s a lot, now, [that are] going to ask you to step out of the White House, because they don’t want a Black face in the White House,” said Min. Farrakhan.
“Be careful, brother, how you handle this situation because it is coming to America! It has already started. Look in Wisconsin! Look in Ohio! Look at what’s going on in your country! And remember your words because the American people are rising against their own government: It’s not Muslims; it’s not Black people! It’s White militias that are angry with their government, and they are well armed. Are you going to tell them–‘Put your arms down, and let’s talk it over peacefully?’ I hope so. But if not, America will be bathed in blood, not because Farrakhan said so, but because the dissatisfaction in America has reached the boiling point. Be careful how you manipulate the dissatisfaction in Libya and other parts of the Muslim world,” he warned.”
Minister Farrakhan spoke the truth! The original YouTube clip went viral within a few days and had over 350,000 views plus it was a top trending topic. The video was reposted by major news networks, Hip-Hop site, and even Glenn Beck dedicated a portion of his show trying to “analyze” it.
Yet, YouTube decided to delete it. Why? What is it about what Minister Farrakhan said that they do not want the American people to consider? The video has since been reposted on YouTube and people started circulating it once again. Information is warfare.

It has been a gloomy weather day in Houston. Some might say this is a “sign” of what is to come when the final votes have been tallied during the mid-term elections.
We’ve watched President Barack Obama the past month go from being the Commander-in-Chief to the “Campaigner-in-Chief”, according to political pundits. This also includes the First Lady Michelle Obama, whose mesmerizing ability to communicate to the ordinary American was called upon.
Will it be enough? Will the Republicans reclaim the political throne? Will the Democrats hold on despite, according to some, sitting on their hands the last two years? Do you even care? What about Black people in America?
The other day I was in a local Black-owned barbershop and I walked right into a political debate over the purpose of Blacks casting their vote. Great Houston spoken word artist Equality once referred to the barbershop as the Black man’s Country Club where millions of sermons are being preached simultaneously every Saturday morning.
This particular morning, politics was on the table.
It was getting heated as one barber said “We as Black people need to vote because our people gave their lives for us to have the right to vote. Show your gratitude. Even if you don’t like anyone on the ballot, voting straight Democrat is better than nothing.”
Uproar took over the shop as a younger Black male, awaiting his turn for a haircut, shouted “Man, that’s a lie. Black people didn’t GIVE their lives for us to have the right to vote. White folks TOOK our lives and then gave us whatever rights they wanted us to have.”
A chorus of “Dang”, “Wow”, and “That’s right” came across the shop.
The young man continued, “And I don’t think our ancestors wants us to vote just to be voting especially when these political fools only care about Blacks when it is time to win an election. We’re being exploited and used as pawns. I’m not voting!”
The barber responded by saying, “Son, you have a lot to learn. We’ve been through a lot as a people and your vote is important. We came together in 2008 to get the first ever Black President of the United States. We can’t leave him hanging now.”
(Photo courtesy of White House Flickr)
The young man responded, “Why not? Obama has left Black people hanging but wants us to bail out these weak Democrats with our vote. Yet we can’t even get him to address any Black issues. I’m not saying he hasn’t done something good so far but come on. The Black vote is not respected.”
The shop got quiet. …Another barber turned up ESPN Sports Center on the television and that was the end of the conversation.
I think this young person brought up some interesting points that made me think about the article titled “Black voters to the rescue, again?”
In this article it states:
“Polls indicate many minority voters are discouraged and won’t turn out Nov. 2 as they did for Mr. Obama two years ago, yet a solid showing among Blacks could still swing several House, Senate and gubernatorial races, according to some analysts.”
In the last few weeks Pres. Obama made appearances on a lot of urban radio shows to encourage Black voters to get out today but will it be enough is the big question. The momentum of the midterms is nowhere near the energy of 2008. That year, I personally knew gang members who voted for the first time because the spirit was different. Yet, that same gang member told me the other day “If Obama is not on the ballot, I’m not voting again.”
Is he the only one feeling like that? Is he wrong for those thoughts?
As for the young man at the barbershop, an article in The Final Call newspaper titled “Black youth, mid-term elections and Obama’s age of hope” sheds more light on that demographic.
The article states:
“While Black youth nationwide prepare to vote in the mid-term elections some say they have not been fooled into believing the outcomes will dramatically change their lives.
Black youth, responding to a national survey of 15-25 year olds, revealed that they were realistic about the meaning of the new age of hope President Obama promised….
“I voted for Obama because I felt his message and wanted to be a part of a change in America. This year it’s different. All the confusion with the Tea Party, all the negativity against the president and the Republicans who want to take back their country, all my hope is gone,” said Brian Henderson, a 22-year-old D.C. resident.
“But I’m still going to vote and encourage others to do so also. It’s hard to get excited when you don’t feel like the options are any better than the devil and Satan in some places.”
I am in no way discouraging anyone from voting. I’m just giving something to think about.
I would like to know: Why Do You Vote?
P.S.–Yes, I voted. (smile) I voted for candidates that I personally know have my people’s best interest at heart. But also I am under no illusion that my civic duty stops at the voting booth. I and we have to work to be the change we want to see on a daily basis not just during election season.
