Inspired by another banging beat by “King Sym” that reminded him of a classic Wu Tang production with a 2009 Swag to it, Jasiri X flips Gza‘s legendary song “Labels” and brings it into the new millennium with “Blogs”:
It was my way of paying homage to the blogs that have supported “This Week With Jasiri X“, and also provide a commentary on the state of online discussions and the promotion of Hip-Hop music and culture. – Jasiri X
“Blogs” is the perfect introductory theme to Jasiri X’s newly launched Blog: RealtalkXpress which focuses on Hip-Hop, politics, news and the media.
“RealTalkXPress” also will introduce new original content such as the next season of “This Week With Jasiri X” and a (soon to debut) Hip-hop interview show “60 Seconds“.
