Ms. Juanita aka “The Kool Cup Lady” is a mother of the Southeast Houston community we’ve been consistently pushing on the corners and going door to door in. The young people adore her. She has become our family and she always expresses her appreciation and love for the work Allah is blessing us to do weekly in the area. And in the midst of a very serious turbulent moment today, she was comforted by our presence that de-escalated a violent situation that could have possibly led to gunfire. All Praise is Due to Allah.
