The one thing I enjoy the most when we go out into the community is LISTENING to our people. This conversation today was so intriguing to me. I asked this young brother what he believes his purpose is and he said he believes he was born to be an architect. He expressed how he’s been drawing blueprints of buildings since he was little and that he will one day own his own architecture firm. He told me he’ll be entering college next year. By the look in his eyes, I could tell he was serious about doing it despite where he is living and what he facing. He thanked me for just listening and for the encouragement. Nothing like hitting the streets with the Fruit of Islam brothers.
