We’re only weeks away from stepping into a new year, and just in case you’re on the fence about whether to launch your new website or to revamp your current website, I want to answer the question rolling around in your mind: Does your business or brand really need an online presence?
It’s simple. Yes! Everyone is online, including your potential clients/customers. 9 out of 10 people receive news and updates via online and social media. These news stories and social media posts are linked to a website hosting the content they’re interested in reading or learning more about.
Some of the clients I’ve met with initially believed that all they needed was a Facebook page or an Instagram account for their business/brand, but failed to realize that if they desire to be taken seriously, they had to come to grips with the fact that social media is for sharing information and building bonds. Yes it brings awareness to your business, but it’s not necessarily for building and sustaining a business. It’s like when you go to the dearlership to purchase your dream vehicle, and you continue to park it there instead of driving it home and parking in your own driveway for others to see. The dealership served an important purpose, but now you can show that shiny new *insert your dream car here* off on your own terms! You get to test the full capabilities of that car that you weren’t able to do on the test drive. I’m sure you get my point.
Yes you may see some who do this, and possibly draw great attention, but the downside is that once the potential customer or client sees enough on social media they’re going to ask, “What’s your website? How can I learn more about your company? Where’s your physical address listed so I can come by and pick up more items? Do you have online gift cards so I can send it my sister in Georgia?”
Do you see where I’m going with this? If you don’t have a website, you’re going to miss out on A LOT of awesome clients and customers primed and ready to support your brand or business, who will then find a similar company who does have all of the above available at the click of a button.
So, if that helps to get you on this side of the fence to have an online presence, click the button below to schedule your complimentary consultation to learn more about Hurt2Healing Magazine’s in-house web design services.
